Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream

30ml | RM102 | Shop

I had heard a lot of good things from Dear, Klair’s vitamin C and the midnight blue series but the price tag was always the reason that puts me off. This time though, I decided to purchase one to try because I needed moisturizer and my eczema skin made me desperate sometimes so I need something that can help calming down my skin whenever it is triggered.

Not all skincare products can miraculously sooth the skin but there are times where I really found products like that. So here’s one of the products that I bought, thinking it would do the same.

It is said that this gentle cream can effectively sooths the skin irritations with its calming ingredients like Guaiazulene and Centella Asiatica extracts. A little goes a long way and it is one of the best sellers of Klairs. (Source: Althea)

Verdict

Hmm.. how should I say this.. Well, its very expensive and it is quite a thick-textured product but it doesn’t seem to help me out when my eczema was triggered. In fact, it may have even caused a tad bit more irritations. I don’t seem to be able to love this product despite a lot of people hyping up the brand and the series. Not that I want to force myself to but I really tried. It’s a good night moisturizer and not for day time. Whatever is remaining in the tub, I may just use it on my chest/back. This isn’t a great product for me but I wouldn’t stop people from trying it out.
