Review| YangZeTang Silicone Free Hair Set 养泽堂 洗发液无硅油配方 套

Previously, I was desperately trying to find a suitable shampoo for my scalp. Majority of the drugstore shampoos were terrible for my hair scalp so I had to source brands from somewhere else. Salon brands are always expensive. They cost over Rm200 per liter and it’s just too vamp for my wallet.

One day, I figured that I should give this brand a try since I was so desperate and had not found any brands yet but honestly it is quite overpriced as well. One set costs Rm168 but if you buy two sets, they will cost RM138 per set. I managed to find someone who was willing to split with me so in the end, I paid RM138 for my set.

I’m already using it for 3 months now.

A box consists of three products: Spraying Serum, Conditioner and Shampoo.

Scalp Nourishing Spray

50ml

This is supposedly for your scalp to feel refresh after hair wash and blow dry but I find it quite useless, especially when it made my scalp a little sticky and not so ‘refreshed.’

It probably did it’s job to make my hair grow but then I don’t see any significant difference, honestly.

Below is the ingredient list where majority of the words are just too foreign for me to understand. Don’t get me wrong, I know how to read Chinese Characters but just not for scientific language in Chinese. I’m not even sure if this product is fully synthetic or what…

Silicone-free Shampoo

400ml
I kept getting advertised that, when you use this shampoo, you don’t have to wash your hair for 2-3 days and your scalp will “miraculously” improve after the first few try. I was also told that you don’t need to use a lot of this for one session.
Here’s my experience:
1. I still need to wash my hair within 1.5 days otherwise my scalp will drive me crazy
2. My scalp did not “miraculously” improve. Maybe a little but not a lot.
3. I can feel the difference of my hair feeling a little healthier but not my scalp.
4. Each session, I pumped out 3-5 times at the size of a strawberry, not cherry.
Similar to the previous product: scientific terms in Chinese that’s just too foreign.

Damage Repairing Hair Mask

100g
Quite honestly, I love this a lot. It worked out for my hair super well. Apparently you can buy this separately but only for this product. Others will have to come in a set.
I apply to my hair for less than 1 minute and it worked out well already, imagine 5-10 minutes. Best part, a little works a long way! So this little thing can be used for a looooong looooong time. I’m trying to ask for the price of this but my agent is currently MIA. I’ll update here later.
Another list of foreign scientific language pfffffft.
So what’s the verdict?
Honestly, I won’t wanna buy again especially when I find the spray useless but I can’t exclude it from the set or replace it with something else. This whole thing was an okay experience but nah, it’s still to expensive for me. Besides, I just bought 3 other brands of shampoo FROM JAPAN which I am so excited to try right after this bottle of shampoo is finished. Will update asap!
This is my last blog post for 2017.
Happy New Year, everyone!
